Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Vinh Nguyen ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the iOS app Modeli, listed on the App Store as "Modeli: AI Clothes Changer" (the "App"). The App lets you upload a photo of yourself and a photo of an outfit, and uses artificial intelligence to show you wearing that outfit. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise location. When you first open the App, it creates an anonymous account tied to your device so that your photos and results are kept separate from other users. The App collects the following:
- Photos you choose – the photo of yourself and the outfit photos you take or pick from your photo library, a cropped preview of the person in your photo, and the try-on images the App creates from them. The App only accesses the photos you select.
- Account and usage records – an anonymous user ID, the try-ons you start and their status, and how many free or rewarded try-ons you used each day.
- Device identifiers – app-instance and installation identifiers and the identifier for vendors, used for analytics, to deliver and measure ads, and to limit how often an ad is shown. On iOS the App asks for your permission before using your advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking; if you decline, the IDFA is not used.
- Diagnostics – crash reports and performance data (device model, OS version, app version) used to find and fix bugs.
- Advertising data – information about the ads you see and interact with (for example impressions, clicks and rewarded videos completed), together with your approximate region derived from your IP address.
- Purchase information – if you buy a subscription, Apple processes the payment and sends the App a receipt with a transaction identifier. We never receive your name, card or billing details.
2. How we use your photos
- Your photos are uploaded over an encrypted connection to private cloud storage that only your anonymous account can access.
- To create a try-on, the person photo and outfit photo are sent to an AI image model run by our service provider (Cloudflare Workers AI, or Google Gemini). The provider processes the images only to return the result to us.
- On your device, the App detects the person in the photo (using Apple's Vision framework) so that your face, hair and background stay as in your original photo. This step runs on your device.
- We do not use your photos to identify you, we do not use face recognition, we do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to train AI models.
3. How we use other information
- To run the App, keep your photos and results, and count your daily try-ons.
- To deliver subscriptions you buy.
- To understand how the App is used and improve it.
- To detect, diagnose and fix crashes and performance problems.
- To show advertisements and measure their performance.
4. Third-party services
The App uses the following service providers, which process information under their own privacy policies:
- Supabase (account, database and photo storage) – supabase.com/privacy
- Cloudflare (AI image model and content delivery) – cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Google Gemini API (AI image model, when used) – policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config – firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) ad mediation and Unity Ads – unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
- Google AdMob – policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple App Store (subscriptions) – apple.com/legal/privacy
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Advertising choices
You can allow or deny tracking when the App asks, and change it any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. If you deny tracking you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your photos and try-on results are kept while your account is in use so that you can see them again. To delete your photos, results and anonymous account, email us from the App's Support page with the subject "Delete my data" and the approximate date you used the App; we delete the data within 30 days. Analytics and crash data are kept by our service providers for the periods set in their policies (for Firebase Analytics, up to 14 months). Deleting the App removes data stored on your device, but not the photos in cloud storage, so please contact us if you want those removed.
7. Content rules
Please only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to it, and do not upload nude, sexual or otherwise inappropriate images. We may refuse to process or delete content that breaks these rules.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information or photos from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to its processing. For any request, contact us at the address below.
10. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and your photos are stored in private storage protected by access rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
